CQS (Conveyancing Quality Scheme)

The Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) is a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices.

It sets out the standards of competence, risk management and client service levels expected of practices.

The Law Society introduced CQS to promote high standards in the home buying process.

CQS improves efficiency with common, consistent standards and service levels and enables consumers to recognise practices that provide a quality residential conveyancing service.

We underwent rigorous assessment by the Law Society in order to secure CQS status and are required to undergo regular training and assessment to show that we retain a high level of expertise and knowledge in the field.

Canadian Centre for Elder Law(CCEL)

The Canadian Centre for Elder Law (CCEL) is a national, non-profit body dedicated to exploring the particular legal issues that affect older Canadians. Canadian Centre for Elder Law has been recognised with national accreditation for her expertise in legal support for older and vulnerable clients, their families and carers.

The accreditation is awarded by SFE (Solicitors for the Elderly), the organisation setting the standards for the highest quality legal advice in specialist areas, such as wills, probate, inheritance tax planning and powers of attorney.

To achieve accreditation, Tom-ColeMan Law LLP was required to undertake assessment to demonstrate solid understanding of the specific needs and considerations required when safeguarding and protecting older clients’ interests.
